Growing with your child

From primary school to graduation, only scholatic furniture that grows with your child can help them sit and stand in the ergonomiccally "correct" position during this important period of growth and development. Moll furniture offers plenty of options for adjustment:

• Height-adjustable feet for user heights between 112 - 202 cm
• Desktop can be tilted to -30° to bring the work closer to the eye, which encourages a relaxed position
• Height-adjustable seat and backrest for a seated height from 35-56 cm
• Seat depth adjustment

 

Sitting properly

Sitting properly is not a science; all you need to do is observe a few basic rules concerning the sitting position and desks in general.

The lower leg should be vertical to the floor, the thigh horizontal.

The lower arms should be resting on the desktop in a relaxed position.

Desk and scholastic furniture should be height adjustable.

The seat should tilt forward by approx. 2°

The seat depth should be positioned correctly: the thighs should not be in contact with the front edge of the seat.

The backrest should be adapted to the back and support the lumbar region.

There should be sufficient space for the legs.
