The CS540 uses the same super-lightweight headset design of the new Savi 740 and together they share the title of lightest DECT headset on the market. There's a new energy efficient feature that adapts to any changes in use, such as distance from the base and length of the call.
Wear the CS540 in 3 different ways (not all at once of course!). It comes with over head and over ear fittings. The behind the neck fitting, as shown in the images, is an option extra and not included. If you want the behind the neck fitting then you can find it in the "Accessories" tab on this page... just add it to your cart.
Of course, it comes fully equipped with noise cancelation, call controls, remote answering capability, hearing protection and hi-def wideband audio.
With the new CS500 range and the Savi 700 range, they can all connect to each other’s base units. This means you can include up to 3 of your colleagues in your calls as long as they have a CS series or Savi series headset. Usually, this is as simple as docking their headset into your base unit and they're connected.
The CS540 is sleek, has an impressive range of functionality, and still has traditional Plantronics reliability. It no doubt will deserve the term 'legend' every bit as much as it's CS60 predecessor.
